“The bed was extremely comfy, the room pleasant, the Internet connection fast and reliable. In the breakfast room, the fresh fruit, cheese and various hams were delicious, the café com leite tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were cheerfully accepting of the need to speak English in the face of my desperate Portuguese. The car park has an impenetrable steel door protecting it, so no worries about your vehicle being broken into. The hotel is on very good terms with Bar do Tadeu (about an 80m walk away) and will ring them to advise of your arrival (the food there is excellent, particularly the beef).”
