“The staff was helpful and they provide a Very good breakfast and newspapers every morning! The room was clean!”
“There was no internet available in the property on the evening before our departure and in the morning at the time of our departure from the hotel.This created a lot of problems for us with on time payment and further travel plans. At one stage property owner asked me to go to the bank to withdraw money to pay them with cash.....I was shocked with this suggestion as they already had my credit card number and they could easily get money from my credit card once when their computer system starts functioning. In fact the computer in the room was very slow for the first two days and did not work on day 3 and before our departure. Breakfasta was very average and monotonous every day. Staff was not very friendly. I will certainly not go back to this hotel.”
“Owner spoke excellent English. Dedicated barrier-controlled parking. Secure (garage) storage for bikes. Spacious, comfortable room for three people. Lovely shower. Vending machine in corridor for hot and cold drinks (including beer and wine). Excellent breakfast. Nice variety of restaurants within a 5 minute drive for dinner. Two restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Great location outside of Freiburg.”

“Some folks might be put off by the fact it is not right in town...however we took the walk by the river for about 20-25 minutes into the heart of town..have to say its a gorgeous walk past all the nice places, the dahlia gardens, the trees, all the decorated bridges..and great to walk off dinner and a couple of beers before bed..even at night we chose to walk rather than bus or taxi..well lit path..so liked the location and great value..freindly staff and good breakfast”
“This was a great place to stop over on the way to Italy. We stayed as a family on the top floor apartment. Great value, safe, clean and comfortable. We walked into Freiburg town centre and had a wonderful time looking at the market. Quite a long walk, ok for our children 9 and 13 years but a bit of a stretch for younger ones. A great pub at the end of the road where the hotel is - outdoor cooking and great food, highly recommend it.”
