“The location is superb, overlooking the beautiful sandy beach of Tamariu. It is a very short downhill walk to the village and beach. The hotel is built on the side of a hill overlooking Tamariu. There is no parking but there is a drop-off point for loading/unloading cars and free parking was available nearby, although this might be more of a problem during the summer. The double room with a sea view was a good size with bathroom with a window and bath with shower over the bath. Lovely views across the bay from the bedroom windows and large terrace. The breakfast buffet was very good with both hot and cold food and excellent fresh pastries. We also ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening and the food was very good quality and good value for money. Service from all the staff could not have been better. The good scores for this hotel are all the more remarkable as the hotel had only opened for the season the day before we arrived.”
