“Balatonfoldvar is perfect place if you travel by car & you prefer quiet accomodation in green and calm town as you still have possibility to travel daily to different places around the lake; very friendly and helpful hotel personnel; there is play-room, library etc to entertain; hotel is very close to the lake, wonderful restaurant Kukorica Csárda which is one street away - authentic big reastaurant with HU dishes, wonderful personnel and almost reasonable for HU prices; we travelled daily to another town of interest round the lake- Tihany, Balatonfured, Siofok, Keszthely etc. - and each evening we were spending in Balatonfoldvar with nice dinner and walk ... Next time I will spend some more time in the hotel, as there is wondeful rose garden and sunbeds in the garden also ...”
