“We had a lovely room overlooking the Ionian Sea. The hotel room was very nice and clean and the staff very helpful. The breakfast was nice but lacked fresh fruit. There was a variety of Scilian sweet cakes and coissants. I particularly enjoyed the cake with lumps of chocolate. There is an indoor pool, a nice partly covered verranda overlooking the water with lounge chairs and a free umbrella and chairs on the beach.”
“The reception staff bar and restaurant staff and the maids were exceptional! Very friendly patient and would go out of their way to give advice and assistance. Hotel is facing the beach and in the centre of town. Rooms good very clean and spacious. Beach is small shingle but very good. Quiet town with some good restaurants. Hotel restaurant is good. Easy access by car or bus to local tourist attractions like Taormina and Etna, Catania, Messina, without the pressure and cost of staying in these places.”
