“Quaint hotel nestled in the gorge at the back of the small, seacoast town of Altrani. You can walk to everything in town and out to the beach also. The hotel had a very nice courtyard, and small stream nearby. We slept with our balcony doors open as the night air was perfect in September. However, we were woken by local roosters at 4:30 am, but that was easily remedied by closing the doors. It had a very authentic feel, not at all touristy.”
“The breakfast was great with lots of choice, the room was cute and clean, the view was very nice and the staff was kind. We had a lovely time and hope to come back one day. ”
“Lovely tiled old building. Clean and extremely well kept.”
“I liked the villa, it gave me a sense of living in Italy.”
“Atrani is the perfect spot! we had such an amazing time here. The hotel is set back from everything so it is peaceful, but only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. we loved having Amalfi so close but also having a more secluded experience. the breakfast here was very pleasant and the hosts were always helpful. The hotel dog was a perk for us”
“Great view from our room, lovely walk through town to hotel locatio”
“First, Atrani is a great place if you want to travel around Amalfi Coast, it's not crowded, public transportation is available and the sea is beautiful. Atrani is very small but Amalfi is in a walking distance. In that region, climbing the stairs is almost a must, however L'Argine was not very up in the hill, it is quite easy to reach. Our room was cleaned and the towels were changed daily. The staff (Alfonso and Elia) are very polite and helpful if you have any questions. The restaurants are not as overpriced as in Amalfi. We followed Alfonso's restaurant suggestions and they were really good.”
“The location was really good. Atrani is located right next to Amalfi, and Amalfi was easily accessible using the pediatrician tunnel. It took us only a few minutes walk. There are few restaurants near the hotel. There was a cute puppy welcomed us everyday which was nice. The building is nice, the room is south Italian style. It's nice to hear the stream near by when wake up. Breakfast was also very nice.”
“Location was quite (up at the end of the town away from tourist streams) except for the little river running by, but when closing the window no problem. There is another window one can open.”
“It's a small and pretty family hotel right at the top of the village, shaded by hills on either side, so it's blissfully cool in the heat of summer and also quiet - no traffic, only the sound of the stream running past and the local cocks crowing.”
