“Clean and large room as well as the bathroom. Very nice staff who waited for my delayed checkin, since I got there a little late. Parking facilities. Hotel has a sauna, however I didn't try it.”

“All good. We had a good sleep. Took a walk next to the farm. As we have picky kids we opted for the pizza place next to the hotel. Breakfast was good. Everyone was happy, curtious and trying their best in a professional manner. No complains. ”
“Stopped off here for one night on our trip to Germany, found the hotel very good, my single room with a metal bed which was of a good size, as was the shower and all was spotlessly clean. The free wifi worked ok and there was a small table & plug by the bed, just the way I like it for charging my phone and setting the alarm. In the evening I had a few beers and a Zigeunerschnitzel in a crowded bar, loads of locals in. I enjoyed the beer & food. The breakfast bread rolls, cold meats & cheese's were also good. I would definitely recommend the Alten Scheune.”

“comfortable bed, quiet location SUPERB steak dinner - Tuesday is special 'steak night' good value at 14.5 euros Extremely good value wine: LITRE of riesling at 13.50! Friendly staff. I was offered bacon and egg breakfast but was still full of the steak dinner! Breakfast items well presented.”
