“I enjoyed my stay here very much indeed! My room was very small, (I think it was the last available room), but it had everything that I needed and it was comfortable. The hotel is in a lovely setting, very tranquil but with easy access. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. I enjoyed my evening meal of schnitzel and asparagus, (spargel), outside in the lovely garden in the evening sunshine with a cool beer. Unfortunately, I could only stay one night, but I am hoping to return in a couple of months time. I would like to mention the lady who cooked my evening meal, which I really enjoyed. When I came to checkout, she asked if I had tried "smokies" or emder majies. When I said I hadn't, she insisted I try before I left and duly returned with a taster on a plate. She was right, it was delicious and yet another reason for me to return. I'm afraid I don't know her name, but I would like to say thank you to her.”
