“We were checked into room #109, a very clean and pleasant Economy Double. Mariana was/is at the front desk day shift. Extremely helpful, courteous and patient. The balcony room looked over Rua Dr. Correia Mateus, a sort of 'dead end street' within which are about five restaurants filling every budget need. Very convenient. The hotel is also within walking distance to the main bus station across a very pleasant plaza. The hill castle looms over the entire scene and town. It is the chief and really only tourist attraction. However, the town is great base for day trips to Fatima and the coast at Nazarre.”
“Comfortable, simple room with a large balcony looking down over the theater and some cafes. Would've been great if it hadn't been raining. Convenient parking in a nearby underground car-park - the hotel gives you a ticket that allows you to park there overnight for 5 euros. Reception on second floor, very helpful people.”
