“Friendly and attentive and down-to-earth. The bar is pretty busy with locals (which we see as a positive); nice to have a buzz and obviously the locals appreciate it. It's a quiet hotel (no music blaring) in a fairly quiet street. They have parking across the road from the hotel in a large modern gated carpark with a swimming pool in the corner which we didn't use but seemed okay for a quick dip or sunbathing. You can generally park on the streets around the hotel with the usual requirement to reverse park and shunt a bit.”
