“ incredible feel from the moment you enter. Friendly staff and immaculate facilities. The restaurant is one of the best in the city, Bavarian salad, and Weinerschnitzel were my favorite. The in-house brewery is fantastic, Maxbrau is one of the best beers on site.”

“A very comfortable stay, en route between The Netherlands and Italy. Great surroundings with a lot to see and expericence outside the city itself. The hotel is a calm place in the (by day) busy small town of Oberammergau. In the hotel you lose the feeling of being in a tourist trap. In the evening you can sniff the fresh mountain air from your balcony and experience the true alpine feeling.”
“Great location in the center of town. The hotel provides the 'Königspass', which give you free entries or reduced rates for a range of attractions, really worth it. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic ! Restaurant Maxbräu in the hotel also very good. Overall not cheap, but absolutely worth it !”

“The staff upgraded me for free and I stayed in their best suite on the top floor. Excellent views of the mountains. Bathroom was phenomenal and the room was very spacious. Very clean, upscale hotel with awesome food. It was also located near quaint restaurants and some really pretty shopping areas. Parking on site was convenient since there isn't much room for parking anywhere else in town. You cannot beat the location.”
