“Nestled on the mountain just above the village of Ascona, Monte Verita is a gem. So much history gives this place a special feel... walk the grounds, attend a tea ceremony (they grow tea right here!), while enjoying the spectacular view of Lake Maggiore... a place to enjoy. The morning breakfast was excellent! Variety of fruit, yogurt, muscli, cheese, meats, whoa!, fantastic. Oh, yes, the coffee and juices!”

“The staff were absolutely superb.. particularly Giacomo! Highly entertaining and good service. The view was great and the verandah/balcony was good.The style of the hotel was authentic and consistent and that was very quirky although not my taste.”
