“The decorations, and a character makes you feel you really are in Venice. The Staff is very Very, very) helpfull, also in guidence to attractions in town. You receive a map of Venice with hotel marked on it. You can have a water taxi or gondola right from the hotel to anywhere - including airport or trainstation. Within a short walk you can reach all the main attractions as well as water tram and main walkpath.”
“This hotel is probably the most amazing place to stay in Venice. The hotel is 500 years old and passed on through generations. The staff is amazing and especially Michel made us feel super welcome. The rooms are super beautiful and the garden is just wonderful. You'll have the best time here (feels like a journey back in time) and it is located really central with one of the best gelato places in Venice 2 min away (Ca D'Oro). San Marco is 20 min walk away and the street Fondamenta de la Misericordia is 5 min walk away and has so many cute and delicious restaurants (up and coming area). We really enjoyed our stay at Abadessa and we would highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone coming to Venice who is looking for an extraordinary experience :0)”
“Breakfast buffet was excellent, good quality and variety, very well prepared and presented. Garden was a haven of peace and quiet in a busy city. Afternoon tea was a nice touch. Rooms were enormous and retained all of the original character of the building. A very original and unique experience. Friendly and very helpful staff.”
