“Quick, easy, flat, short walk from the Sapporo JR station. The reception is open 24 hours which is really convenient. They ask that you leave your key at reception when you leave the hotel, which initially bothered me, but with 24 hours reception, it meant I didn't have to worry about carrying around and possibly losing the key. You just have to remember your room number, which they give you or a small card when you check in. Included all the things I would expect: disposable toothbrush/paste, razor, kettle and green tea packets, bar fridge. Ensuite - shower over bath and toilet, desk, TV, wifi and double bed.”

“Excellent location - two blocks from the Sapporo train station, one block from stations for two of the city's three subway lines, a 10-minute walk to Odori Park in one direction, and 10 minutes in another direction to the botanical garden. The room was small but not uncomfortably so; the bed and pillows were comfortable; good wifi reception in the room; small tv with all-Japanese channels; good water temp and pressure in the shower. I didn't take the breakfast buffet option (1000 yen), instead found other places for coffee and something smaller than a buffet (including several choices in the train station and its linked malls). A 20-to-30 minute walk (or two subway stops) away is the restaurant-dense "entertainment district" for a wide selection of lunch and dinner choices.”
