“The friendly owners provided happily good information and tried the best to make us feel welcome.Breakfast comes with pancakes, and scambled eggs were made fresh on request.Suprisingly, the place is not run by Germans as the name "Schätzle" suggests, but by imigrants from Kosovo who proudly develop this nice place to be even more welcomming. During our stay WiFi was installed on the upper floors and can now be enjoyed in the rooms. ”

“I literally liked everything in the hotel, the facilities were too good for the rate, the cleanliness, the attitude of management (actually one lady was managing everything by herself and she was too good at it).. The breakfast was awesome for 5 EUR and change.. The view from the hotel is mesmerizing with Black forest so close by us and the snow in the lawn (i visited during the spring and there was some snow).. Finally the rooms were very spacious (the double bedrooms) and the bed was so comfortable , especially when you come back from a ling hiking in the black forest!!”

“the staff was really friendly. The hotel is a family ran business, they played with my daughter and gave her toys to make the stay as comfortable as possible. My daughter even said she didn't want to leave. The breakfast was big and so were the rooms. The beds were 2 put together but very comfortable. Will be staying here again when in the area! very close to visit the Triberg area and to visit the Koocoo clock stores. They recommend a near by restaurant to eat at, that was also very good!”
