“The location was in the little village of Gittersdorf, near Bad Hersfeld. The buildings in the village were charming, as they were very old black and white farming houses. Very quiet. We went into Bad Hersfeld for dinner, and found a thriving little town/community which would have been fun to explore and spend time in, if we'd had more time. Gittersdorf and Bad Hersfeld were both unexpected gems in the middle of Germany, and I would stay there again!”
