“Welcome by hotel owner and staff. History of building and family owned. Comfortable bed. Trying the schnapps! Plentiful onsite dining choices- we had dinner downstairs inside an old (large!) wine barrel - fantastic! Great history but with appropriate modernisation - great wifi, elevator etc.”
“Very, very nice hotel, great room, lots of space, and a lovely breakfast. Unfortunately dinner was not being served the night we were there but the very helpful woman at the desk reccomended the restaurant across the street and our meal there was delicious. We enjoyed a glass of schnapps in the "Schnapps Cellar" of the hotel before returning to our room, all most charming. This is a fairly moderately priced hotel with outstanding value. Room way above average, spotless, especially roomy and comfortable. Everything is totally charming. You absolutely can't go wrong staying here.”
