“Firs of all I liked the style of the building itself; designed to encourage conversation in reception and the use of solid marble throughout the premises added to the traditional feel of the building. Great welcoming staff with a ‘can do’ attitude, and if you come in exhausted from a trek you leave your troubles and your laundry at reception. Substantiail and nutritious breakfast, good beds and clean rooms - this hotel seems to attract loyal repeat clients and I can understand why. I am a 75 year old experienced lone traveller with many reviews in my name”

“My 'Excellent' Rating was not really due to the Hotel itself, in fact w/o a lift, typical low quality building finishes and not-so-pretty views down from the Windows, it essentially is a typical Pokhara, even Nepalese hotel, HOWEVER, sometimes the quality of experience in a Hotel is not always just the architecture, the breakfast, the amenities.... My point is that the Hotel Manager, Pushpua (sp?) and even hotel staff like the ever-smiling young kitchen/fix-it/ and porter guy, whose name escapes me, made our stay superlative in quality with their helpfulness, incredible optimistic and friendly demeanor and with all their attempts to make their guests comfortable, welcome and happy. This certainly was gracious service and hospitality at its best that displaced any of the minor issues this property has and replaced it with a feeling of content and happiness to be staying there.”
