“All the staff were very helpful. With the exception of cleaning staff, they all spoke English to varying degrees. The hotel felt very relaxed. Everything to visit within the city is within a pleasant walking distance for exploring.”
“I was bitten by a spider or bug in my room/bed. Still 3 weeks later my knee has not heald yet. Welt on knee is 2.5 cm in diameter. I noticed bugs in washroom but dig not expect anything in the bed.”
“The staff were very kind and helpful. The locals were very welcoming; helping us to exchange money at the bank, and locate and print our own postcards at the print shop. The location was really good - the city isn't huge, but there were plenty of interesting sites to walk to along the hotel's avenue, and also along the tree-lined promenade where the Abai monument stands.”
“A/c wasn't turned on yet. It was too hot in the room.”
“General atmosphere of the hotel is very nice. It's truly a European hotel in the heart of Kazakh steppes. Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast, fine restaurant where the local Italians gather every evening, staff which speaks good English—all these things make a stay there very enjoyable.”
“Super staff and good breakfast options also good secure parking”
“The hotel's staff was very friendly and helping. The breakfast was OK, nicely brewed coffee.”
“Friendly staff, I got upgraded to suite from economy for free.”
“Dinner in the restaurant was good, albeit overpriced! Reception girls were kind to order airport taxi for 3000 KZT (one way) albeit taxis are really old, smelly and dirty. Reception charged us a premium for a nicer car, but in fact the taxi was quite old, dirty smelly. So be aware of these tricks. Not worth paying extra. Normal airport taxi ride is ~2000 kzt.”
“У вас тихо, спокойно. Завтрак хороший, жаль нельзя брать круассаны с собой на работу.”
