“The hotel is in a lovely setting and it was very interesting and enjoyable to have a guided tour round the village. We took the leopard safari and were lucky enough to encounter a large male leopard and, with the help of the excellent guides, to get good photographs.”
“I found it a great place to relax and read. We stayed in Room 10 which has adjoining room 9, which was the original bedroom of the Maharaja. It still has the original frescos on the walls and was like walking back in history. I got some candles and lit all the little alcoves and it looked beautiful. Outside we had a huge mattress (day bed) where we were able to lie and read and take in the view of the mountain. On dusk, monkeys came and sat on the walls.”
“Quaint and elegant property and perfectly set in the foothills of the Aravalis. Well appointed room (though there was no TV / minibar in our room we didn’t miss either), excellent amenities (Kama Ayurveda bathroom amenities- nice!), warm and courteous staff and the food we ordered on both evenings was excellent, besides of course the good spread at breakfast. Clean swimming pool and well landscaped green spaces.”
