“The staff was really really nice and gentle especially Lady Brigitte she was so so so welcoming and friendly and caring. One morning we fell asleep and did not wake up on time for the breakfast but once we got down to have a cup of coffee we were surprised the she left all the breakfast for us, so sweet from her! The restaurant is amazing the food was sooooo good ... the position in great between Hallstatt and the gusau lake... a paradise!!”

“Actually we wanted to stay in Hallstatt but there were no hotel room available. So we decided to stay at this little hotel in Gosau. We were not so happy about that, however everyday we liked more to stay in Gosauhof. The hotel was very comfortable with very beautiful mountain view. A lot of small places to walk around and the nature is just amazing. The stuff was very friendly. Special thanks to Frau B. Lasserer. She is very friendly and helpful. Small chats with her made us fell like home. The restaurant was beyond our expectations. The food was just excellent. If you do not like this very luxury and big hotels, this hotel is perfect option.”
“This place was a dream. Driving to Gosau in the middle of the sunset was already mind-blowing, but seeing the views from the hotel... it was out of this world, landscape? 10. Location? excellent, only 20min from Hallstatt and 5min from Gosau Lake & Mountains (a MUST). The staff was not superfluent in English but was extremely nice and made great effort to please us at any time - we arrived late and she still prepared a delicious dinner for us. Decoration is very old school, but it's a mountain house so it gives it a lot of personality. After being in Hallstatt, we can say this place is a lost treasure and even if Hallstatt is nice, it is overrated.”
“We only stayed one night and it's a good place to do just that. It's a cozy convenient hotel that's perfect for exploring Hallstatt and the area around. The view from the room was spectacular, the parking lot large and convenient. An all-around good choice.”
