“We liked the high ceilings, the old world feel of the building, and the proximity near both the river and the town. Nice breakfast, garden restaurant for meals. Room was spotless.”

“Wir waren zum verlängerten Marathon Wochenende in Spitz. Der Wachauerhof hat uns durch die tolle Lage angesprochen. Das Hotel ist leicht erreichbar und es gibt ausreichend Möglichkeiten zu parken. Die Zimmer sind sauber , die Betten bequem und es gibt einen Lift. Chefin und Chef sind sehr nett (zum Abschied gab´s zwei Gläser Marillenmarmelade) Besonders freundlich ist das Personal -es gab schon nette Gespräche beim reichlichen Frühstück wie auch Abends an der Theke bei Wein und einem Marillenschnapserl. Man kann hier auch sehr gut speisen. Toll ist die Lage wenn man zur Fähre ,Bahnhof oder einfach eine Tour durch Spitz machen will. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Donau Radweg.”

“Reichhaltiges Standard-Frühstück. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Kaffee wird selbstverständlich nachgereicht, auch ein 2. Frühstücksei stellte überhaupt kein Problem dar. Auffallend freundliche Wirtsleute. Sehr saubere Unterkunft. Altes ehrwürdiges und erhabenes Hotel. Lage traumhaft. 80 mtr. zur Donau. Schiffsanlegestelle und Rollfähre direkt vorm Haus.”
