“Liked the welcome we got when we arrived. The hotel is a lovely old building well cared for. Pretty terrace to sit outside and enjoy the town square. Great waiter at dinner who was very courteous and produced an English menu for us. Watched euro football in the lounge and was made to feel very much at home. A great find in a beautiful village location. Tremendous views close by.”
“The staff is truly outstanding: They helped us in every possible way, from giving us detailed informations about the surroundings and driving hints, to arranging for us quite late in the evening to have our favorite place in the restaurant and a parking place in their garage (all places outside were taken and the town had a fair just outside the hotel, starting the following morning, with the corresponding parking restrictions heavily enforced by police). The hotel has a very special charm, a mixture of classical style combined with modern service. We enjoyed the breakfast: The basics are in the italian tradition of coffee and sweets, but enriched with fruit, yoghurt and (we were invited to choose) bacon (excellent), cheese and salami. The restaurant is great, we liked the fantastic steaks, but also the local specialties, pizzoccheri and sciatt.”
