Very nice and helpful staff, nice place to stay in and there is really nothing to complain about (except if you expect to stay in the capital of La Gomera). Breakfast is also of good quality and not too expensive (7.5€). Internet works fine and there is also a common room for just sitting down and chat. All in all, can only recommend.”
“This hotel is located in Agulo, one of the most charming towns that we visited in the Canaries. It's nestled in a coastal valley, surrounded by banana groves and dramatically high cliffs; the spectacular Mirador de Abrante sits atop one of these cliffs overlooking the town. Walking through the town feels like a walk back in time. In the center of town is the hotel, in a lovely colonial-era building with great views of the surrounding cliffs and countryside. All rooms are built around a central open-air courtyard with a small fountain, lounge chairs, and plenty of greenery. It's a great atmosphere. Our room was a deluxe, with a view across town to the surrounding cliffs. Great morning light comes in when you open the wooden shutters. The room itself is small, but it's well-appointed and very comfortable.”
