“This is perfect place to stop one or two nights if you are travelling from Pamplona through the Pyrenees to France via Roncesvalle. The village of Uriz only has a permanent population of 9, and it is hard to find on the GPS. However, once you get there it is magic. The hotel has been beautifully restored and created from an ancient rural buidling and defence tower about 7 years ago by the Spanish government. There is a great loop walking trail up the hill behind Uriz that is well worth the walk.”

“El hotel es un regalo para los sentidos, todo está cuidado y al detalle. Tuvimos una pequeña incidencia con la reserva y enseguida nos llamaron y nos obsequiaron un vino para compensar las molestias. Paula y Jesús nos trataron estupendamente. Ocupamos un habitación "normal" una noche y las otras tres noches, la habitación de la torre que es una auténtica maravilla: hiciera bueno o malo, levantarte con aquellas vistas es un regalo. La sala común es igualmente estupenda. Todo está cuidado y se nota mimo en todos los detalles del recinto.”
