“The hotel is a lovely old building of great character in a quiet, relaxing location in the centre of a charming town. We had a suite that had a sitting room, a quiet and cool bedroom and its own terrace. The staff were welcoming and helpful and we had an excellent dinner in their vine-covered yard from the new team running the in-house restaurant. What not to like?”
“A very warm welcome and superb rooms. The evening facilities are limited, but there was an honesty bar in the hotel and bars/restaurants within minutes if needed, so it's not an issue. The breakfast is very good and all the staff were attentive and lovely to deal with.”
“Location was incredible, the town was gorgeous and peaceful. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful and even arranged for private wine tastings for us at the top Riesling producer 2 km away. All of the staff was very friendly. Great breakfast!”
“There was a very good location, beautiful city and surroundings. Nice restaurants everywhere in the town. We were specially impressed over the Greek one (the only one in the city) where they served very good quality food, and another one called Mosel Staube where the personell were specially friendly and they served traditional German food. The hotel is a an old castle from XIVth Century with lots of character and atmosphere. The room we had was quite large and with a big bathroom. The personell was friendly and helpfull.”
