“As always, this is an outstanding place to stay. I make several trips a year to this location for business and this has become my go-to hotel. I had a severe cold this trip (coughing and sneezing), but the the staff was friendly and attentive, and went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible.”
“A very beautiful quiet place, of historic interest as well. We arrived with caravan, unexpected after long rainy trip at 8 pm. Parking no issue. We were received very friendly, and given a very nice room, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. As we wanted dinner the 'schlosswirtshaft' was immediately called to expect us, a short walk away. The meal was of excellent quality and reasonably priced, service very friendly and knowledgeable. The place just breathes hospitality of bygone times. Breakfast excellent as well.”
“This is a family run guest house - very quiet and peaceful and on the banks of the river in a tiny village. It's perfect for a complete getaway from the hussle and bussle. Breakfast was good - lots of bread and cold meats and juices. There is a pub/ restaurant next door where we spent a beautiful evening relaxing with good food, good service and beer, and a little evening stroll. A short drive away is a small, picturesque town with a castle and cobbled streets. Here you can find a supermarket.”
“If you are in Bavaria, it is good to have a resting place like this, near Nurnberg where you can be in touch with nature. Nearby is river Naab, completing the beautiful landscape. Wifi is free and fast. The breakfast is excellent, fresh and delicious croissants, crusty bread and variety of jellies and marmalades. A lot of books at your disposal. You can have romantic walks exploring the surrounding area. Waste and comfortable rooms, big bathrooms equipped with modern shower, vanity kit and even toothbrush with a paste! Very friendly owners. Guests who failed to call a taxi , where driven by the owner to the city. Amazing!”
“The Family Sarfert are wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming. Stephanie is fantastic, she is accommodating and incredibly helpful. The property, the rooms and the whole hotel is superb; clean, comfortable and spacious. This hotel is relaxing in a beautiful location that is very quiet. There is a good selection for a German breakfast. The coffee is great! We would highly recommend this hotel because of the facilities, scenery, staff and owners. It is a must stay if you are in the area. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!”
