“-I requested airport shuttle from the hotel, it was promptly waiting when I exited the airport and drove right to the hotel door. Price is comparable to a taxi, very convenient. -The hotel is located on a pedestrian only street, so it was very quiet. I especially appreciated how quiet it is after spending half a day elsewhere in Kathmandu. Another benefit of the hotel airport shuttle, they have special permits to drive into the pedestrian street, so you can get in and out right from the hotel door, instead of dragging your luggage to the main street. -In the heart of Thamel tourist district. Yes, it's less authentic and more touristy. But after seeing the rest of the chaos that is Kathmandu, I don't mind it at all. -Lots of good food/supermarket/shopping nearby. -20 minute walk to Dubar Square, and lots to see along the way.”
“-Wifi. Maybe I'm biased, after using the extremely slow internet for 3 weeks on our Three Passes Trek, this internet is fast and reliable. -Quiet. Especially after an afternoon visiting Dubar Square, this hotel earns its name Serenity fair and square. -Great service. Front desk always helpful. -Great airport shuttle. Easy and door to door. Just make sure to confirm your reservation an hour before you leave. -Great shower and a clean room. Again, I might be biased after weeks of no shower on the trail. -Comfortable bed. -Big bright windows. Ask for a higher floor if you want better view. Lower floors you will just stare at buildings across the street. -Safe area with lots of food and shopping options nearby.”
