“Staff were friendly and helpful. Good swimming pool, and the hotel stay on the "calm" side of the the Luxor city, people living around was very friendly and nice. I recommend and would come back ”

“Loved being on the West Bank...so easy to just go up to Mohamed and get bicylces and cycle off to see all the amazing sights, and being able to stop and start whever you want. Very easy, 1 EP to cross over to the Eastern side any time we wanted to.....The Hotel is now even better, as it has a swimming pool, so time to chill out after visiting the sights....lunch or early dinner by the Pool....We arrived and my husband asked if he could put his eye drops in their fridge...and within minutes they provided us with a fridge...for his eye drops..hahahah...was a bit worried I may be cold at night...in seconds arrived a lovely brand new extra blanket and an electric fire.....had an issue with the shower, told them, was fixed the next day....brilliant service....spent out evenings around the fire drinking beer with the staff and locals...loved it...”

“A fragrant garden and extravagant public spaces made the hotel unusual and beautiful. Tiny touches---like dolphin taps-- gave the bathroom a sense of fun. The pierced brass lamps were true Arabian nights. And the handsome young troupe of workers were kind and playful, as well as efficient. A happy place!”

“The staff here are wonderfully friendly and helpful. It was easy for me to organize a great driver to see nearby sites, and staff were quite knowledgeable about the local attractions. The design of the hotel has a great traditional feel, and there are places to relax outside with a beer after a long day of sightseeing. The location is a short walk from the public ferry terminal, so it's easy and cheap to get to the east bank while still enjoying the calmer, friendlier western side.”

“The Sheherazade is fabulous. The design is such that there are many outdoor sitting areas to chose from. Free wifi in the rooms and on the grounds is great. The new pool is beautiful and sparkling clean. The food is delicious and well priced. I had a ground floor room with a nice terrace looking out on a garden. My room was clean, the bedding crisp white sheets, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. The staff were all so kind and helpful. The owner, Mohammed, is usually on site and is approachable, friendly, and genuinely cares about his guests.”

“Hôtel typique à 2 pas du ferry pour visiter louxor et Karnak. Et quelques minutes en voiture de la vallée des rois etc. Piscine, divers coin pour se poser à l'ombre. Chambre grande équipées de clim et de ventilo. Personnel très accueillant, très bonne cuisine. Petit dej inclus, et un chauffeur top pour vos excursions. Tout ça a un pris imbattable.”

“Liebenswürdiges, aufmerksames Personal, dabei aber in keiner Weise aufdringlich. Der Hotelmanager übernimmt alle Buchungen (Taxi, Ballontour etc.) schnell, unkompliziert und äußerst zuverlässig. Der Service des Personals kommt wirklich von Herzen. Alles ist blitzsauber. Schönes Zimmer. Kristallklarer, sauberer Pool. Und es ist ruhig! Zuverlässiger Weckservice, Frühstück auch um 5h00 morgens. Gutes und günstiges landestypisches und europäisches Essen.”
