“Great traditional Austrian hotel. Very good public areas - there is also a pool which we did not visit as were only staying briefly for one night. Took the half board option - evening meal was lovely and the breakfast the following morning was excellent - a very wide choice. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and comfortable with separate bed, sofa and a balcony. Very good location - a short walk down into the centre of town. A very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to return.”

“We have been travelling for nearly 7 weeks and thus property is equal to and possibly better than any we have stayed in. It is in the traditional Austrian mountain style , the room (107) was large and well equipped as was the bathroom and we had a nice balcony overlooking the town. Fittings were first class. The property was spotless, the staff fantastic in every way and the breakfast ( and the breakfast service) was superb. The hotel has an excellent guest lounge and bar. The owner Daniela could not have been more helpful generally and with advice regarding our next day's driving over the mountains. Zell Am See is a very attractive village perched on the edge of the magnificent lake. A great place”
