“bed is comfortable, reception is helpful, breakfast place has a nice view. The breakfast is good but prefer more fresh food.”
“All the staff were friendly and helpful. Junko on reception was so lovely and gave us lots of information and discount lift tickets for skiing. She recommended and booked restaurants for us too and was always smiling. The hotel is in an excellent position very close to the lifts for skiing and also close to a few great restaurants. We used the lovely onsen downstairs every day after skiing. We also used the outside onsen once and it was also great. Our room was large, the bed was comfy and we had a lovely view of the snowy trees. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Overall an excellent hotel!”
“Location is super close to Hakuba Goryu mountain (a few minutes walk, or you can take the hotel shuttle) and it's very easy to get a shuttle from Goryu to other ski mountains in the area. They have a locker room set up for skiers, which was great. The onsen was small but clean and lovely. Breakfast was fine, nothing spectacular but nothing inedible.”
“Really large spacious rooms by Japanese standards. Super helpful and pleasant staffs- great English Really easy to get to the skiing area”
“Love this location. This was our third time staying in Hakuba and we have now decided that Goryu is our preferred choice when it comes to locations in Hakuba. We would describe Goryu like staying on the Sunshine Coast compared to staying in Happo One which we would compare to the Gold Coast. This was our first time staying at Stelle Belle and we were more than happy with our stay. We liked how close this property was to Goryu Snow Field. Although free shuttle buses were provided we found it so easy to just walk to and from the ski fields whenever we wanted to. There was plenty of good restaurant choices close by and the rooms were clean and comfortable (beds were pretty good for Japan standards). Fresh towels were provided every day and room tidied every second day. Buffet breakfast had plenty of both Western and Japanese options so we always left with a full tummy, ready for our day of skiing/boarding. We will definitely be back.”
“Our bags were misplaced by the airline for a few days. Ms Junko, unrequested, organised some clothes from locals for our kids. She pointed us towards great (& cheaper) local ski hire and instructors. Its' 100m from the nearest ski chairlift and many restaurants. They have a bus which takes you to public bus stops. Breakfast covered all bases. Ultra quiet and clean rooms. Awesome!! BTW Goyru/47 has great ski slopes.”
“The comfy room and the buffet breakfast was amazing, being close to the ski lifts was very handy.”
“Interconnecting family room was great had privacy and space. Very helpful staff. Convenient to ski slopes. Bathroom shower and insensitive all really good”
“Great location, staff were fantastic! Junko made sure we had all the information we needed and helped us with travel bookings! Breakfast was delicious, both western and Japanese selections! Rooms were comfortable, and Onsen perfect after a long day of skiing! We'll be back!!”
“Helpful staff and nice to have an onsen. Walking distance to a number of good restos and evening places - and the hotel reserved tables (essential in busy season).”
