“If you are going to other islands, this hotel is within walking distance to the port for speed boat. Easy tram from JR station to hotel. Walking distance to the famous department store. Excellent breakfast choices and freshly cooked!! Staffs are very helpful and sincere. I will definitely stay here again.”

“Excellent quality room and a good breakfast for a budget price, especially compared to other locations within Japan. Quiet room and location, whilst also being only 5 mins walk from a busy restaurant and mall district. 15 mins walk to the ferry terminal (if you're going to Yakushima, this is the place to stay), and only a little further in the other direction to Kagoshima central train station. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, but don't speak a lot of English, so come prepared with some Japanese ability or use google translate to help things along. ”
