“It's close to the. airport so this is the main reason to stay in tababela. The staff doesn't speak much english (except one girl) but we got along anyway. You can catch a local bus to Quito (1,5 hrs) for a city trip and there's a good bakery (nico's) and a great pizza place (chester's pizza) within a 5 min walk.”

“Bed very comfy. Great shower and toiletries. Quiet considering it's on an airport route. Close to airport. However not happy with the reception. Tried to overcharge us for lots of things including the room we booked $34 tried to charge $60!! we had an email from the hotel telling us how much the airport transfer was and then when we tried to book it for the following morning he tried to add on more dollars. Same for breakfast. We paid for the room on arrival then he tried to get us to pay more by saying we hadn't. We speak enough Spanish so we stopped the overcharging but I worry what might happen to people who have the language barrier. Very disappointing for such potential at a nice hotel.”

“The location was great since we landed at Quito airport around 2am and didn't want to have to take an hour long ride into Quito in the morning. We were able to get to Banos fairly easily the next morning as well. We also thought the only employee working was very nice. He got up at 3am when we arrived to show us all the amenities and then he was up the next morning making everyone breakfast.”
“Although we arrived much later at night than anticipated, staff were waiting for us at the airport and greeted us warmly. We also had to depart next day at the crack of dawn, and again, even though we had to wake up the desk manager, she greeted us warmly and our ride to the airport arrived within 5 minutes. Great service!”

“Staff organized a pick-up from terminal terrestre where we arrived back from Mindo and also the taxi to the airport very early the next morning worked fine. Location is great for a layover and there is a very good Pizza Place just 500 meters from the hotel, right at the main street.”
