“The Hotel was fab and I believe it to be 4 star standard within walking distance of man made beach/pier. We were met by a very friendly receptionist who walked us to our room. . Castiglioncello is an Italian resort with little or no tourists at this time of year May. It's 40 minutes from Pisa with man made beaches. Its perfect if you want to get away on your own as we didn't meet any English speaking people! Restaurants in the area were nice with typical yummy Italian food which were a little pricey! Duringbour 4 day stay we visited Florence, Lucca and Pisa in our rental car, all easy accessible!”
