The lawn around the pool area was great. Being there all day was very relaxing. We also ate lunch and dinner there for couple of times, which were all very good. We asked for recommendation of a tour company to take a daily wine tour, and the one they had recommended was very successful, we really enjoyed our wine tour in Douro Valley. Also, when we asked for the nearby restaurants, they gave us a list, and we tried two of them, which were really fantastic, within short driving range. I totally recommend this hotel.”

“The hotel Torre de Gomariz is located in the idyllic quiet and peaceful landscape of the Portuguese north, located near Braga. The hotel - an old wine estate still surrounded by wine yards - is a perfect blend of historical and modern architecture including a wellness areas with an indoor pool and spa. The employees are always friendly and care taking. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. I just can recommend the hotel.”
