“We really enjoyed this hotel and decided to stay for 2 nights. The room was spacious, with a really nice balcony overlooking the main shopping street of the town. It had a good size TV, with many more choices of English channels than the other hotels we stayed in. The staff were absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to assist. The hotel has really warm and well decorated entertainment areas, including a dining room, cozy lounge area for coffee, well-stocked bar and an area for playing pool. This is clearly a popular hotel, as it was pleasantly busy and had a really nice ambiance. Hillegom is in the tulip district, so this is a convenient place to stay. There are several shops in the Main Street, with a few restaurants to choose from, besides the one in the hotel. Breakfast was not included, so we decided to eat en route while sight seeing.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Hillegom was convenient as it is only 5 ish kms on the bikes to the Keukenhof. The Netherlands is so lovely to ride bikes in. We popped into Delft on our last day, which is also a lovely old town with canals. The cafe and the restaurant downstairs were really great, very tastefully decorated with style, food good, staff friendly and polite. The rooms are not flashy but good enough, bathroom is small but big enough and the shower was good, had great pressure. The only thing we didn't like was the bed. This insane thing that you find in Germany and i guess in Holland too is 2 single beds together, which is a nightmare when you are with your partner and you want to meet in the middle for a cuddle and someone ends up in the hole.”
