“The staff were helpful and attentive and if you want to stay in the Centro Historico (be sure that you do) this is as good as anywhere. There were comfortable areas to sit and read, and there was a convenient and very adequate cafeteria next door for breakfast or early supper. Everything was inexpensive. Public transport was very good - but you will need some Spanish.”

“Nice hotel which was a pleasant surprise when you entered it, nice atrium space and common areas. Nice room with private bathroom. Views of the volcano from the balcony used to access the room. The location was decent. To the east within walking distance were plenty of shops & market stalls plus most of the churches and public squares. To the north west were a number of large malls if you wanted. Staff were pleasant and there was free coffee throughout the day. Bus station nearby with international routes.”

“Just amazingly beautiful Hotel, the rooms and the plenty available places to sit are wonderfully decorated, so charming. The location is good, this hotel is the closest one to the center of town, 10 min walk (it was very difficult to find out on the internet beforehand where downtown is actually located, even being a native spanish speaker). And the low prices are surprising, all in all. Coffee is free 24 hours, but only black.”
