“I really liked this place. I kept on thinking I was in a Madrid Hotel room, but in the countryside. Rather an odd feeling. This was def the most luxurious place I stayed on my 2 week budget road trip! Breakfast and coffee were fine and great respectively. Amazing views and a pool! The breakfast lady asked me straight away if I had slept ok .”

“The staff could not do enough for you. It is a small hotel which meant check in closed quite early. We were due to arrive at around 9 p.m. but unfortunately our ferry arrived around four hours late but they arranged for one of their staff to stay around until we arrived which was just after midnight. “This is a lovely hotel in a lovely location. We booked a superior double room, on the top floor at the back of the hotel with big windows looking out over the fields towards Ribadesella village. The view was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. There is a terrace at the back of the hotel, which also offers a great view. Breakfast was very good, with a good choice of cooked, cakes/pastries, fruit and yoghurt. We ate in the restaurant there one night - delicious food and good value. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.”
