“The location could not have been better. Had a wonderful first thing in the morning. When we opened our shutters we had the most glorious view of the cathedral.”
“The hotel is located right next to beautiful Orvieto Cathedral - very centrally located. Our room was a little bit tight, but we booked the cheapest room and traveled super light (two carry-ons only), so it wasn't an issue for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Orvieto is SUCH a quaint town - definitely one of our favorites among all the Italian cities we visited on this trip (Venice, Cinque Terre, Florence, Siena & Rome). There are lots of artisan studios hidden between small allies, making leather goods, ceramic and woodwork with incredible craftsmanship AND at reasonable price.”
“Right on the piazza facing the incredible duomo. Nice breakfast.”
“The location was excellent. Right in front of the Duomo with shops and restaurants within walking distance all around.”
“The breakfast choices were great. Staff was very helpful.”
“Great location right in square next to Duamo. Very friendly hosts and room was comfortable for an overnight stay.”
“I really liked the hotel. The staff were lovely and the hotel was great.”
“We booked the Small Double Room and the price was very affordable. The room was not too small for us as we travel light, but it might be if you travel with huge suitcases. The room faced the back of the hotel which is on a small street that was very quiet. The hotel is right on the square by the beautiful Cathedral which preserves the Eucharistic Miracle. The Chapel inside the Cathedral that houses it is very special even though the corporal is not on display, only during certain dates during the year. But it is still an awesome privilege to visit and pray there. The Chapel on the right has amazing frescoes that you can study for hours, or at least many minutes. Tip: go ahead and drive right up to the Hotel then drive right pass the front of the Cathedral to the parking lot which charges around 12 Euros for 24 hours. It's safe and very convenient. I think you could pretty well explore most of Orvieto by staying one night. ”
“Due to change in travel plans I had to correspond with the hotel a couple of times prior to traveling and the staff were so responsive and helpful. They were equally great in person as well. This is a very comfortable hotel and it is really worth paying for a room with a Duomo view.”
“Great location, looking out at the Cathedral. Comfortable bed, attractive furnishing. Friendly staff.”
