“Lovely, friendly and hospitable hosts. went out of the way to propose hiking routes around the property...and took effort to ensure that our stay comfortable one. room is spacious and comfortable. No issue with parking spaces, hotel Bach has a home-stay setting with a nice living room with a lovely view of the garden, is a nice place for a quite retreat or for hiking ( there are a few hiking options nearby). if u can, should try the dinner which is home cooked and delicious. breakfast spread is good. overall if I come back to visit the town, I will love to stay in the same place again.”
“Breakfast was very poor, owners (female) nasty, property very difficult to see with one lone light bulb outside and parking was almost impossible. Bugs in the bedroom.”
“Hinterzarten is a nice Black Forest village, much preferred to staying in more touristy Titisee town. Hotel Am Bach is very rustic, old-fashioned style B&B, a little too much for my taste but others might really like that. Excellent breakfast. Friendly owners”
“Hotel Am Bach is a wonderful little hotel and it is full of quirky charm and unusual décor. My sons, in their early 20's, especially liked it. It's lovely and relaxed and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good and we wished we'd booked for dinner as the dinner smelt amazing. It was very nice to be able to have tea and coffee at any time. The cellar was safe storage for bicycles. The board games and jigsaws and classical music in the lounge were very relaxing and the garden is lovely.”
