“The location was ideal for us as we were visiting a very old friend (89 yrs) locally rather than sightseeing. The hotel is quiet and relaxing and literally on a small island surrounded by water. Breakfast selection was very good with cold meats, cheese, muesli, yoghurt, juice and fruit and various breads and plenty of tea and coffee and if you fancied eggs those too. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful and the nicest we have dealt with in a long time. Its a good value basic hotel in a very good location and if I was a lot younger, less tubby and rode a bike I would go back any day!”

“Ich hatte in den Kritiken in Booking.com gelesen, die Zimmer seien alt(modisch) und abgewohnt....... Falsch, das Hotel ist ein Vintage-Kleinod. Hier passt alles zusammen, vom Vorhang bis zur Badkachel.... Man fühlt sich 25 Jahre zurück versetzt und sollte es auch genießen!..... Auffallend war die herzliche, freundliche und zuvorkommende Art aller Mitarbeiter. Es steigerte den Wohlfühl Effekt.... Es gibt eine gutbürgerliche Küche zu zivilen Preisen. Das trifft auch auf die Getränkepreise zu. Und wer länger bleibt, wird sich über den reichlich vorhandenen Schrankraum freuen...... Für den Preis des Frühstücks, gibts normaler Weise kein Buffet. Hier wurden mir aber ausser frischem Obst, 3 Käse und 4 Wurst Sorten auch noch die leckersten Frühstückseier seit langem angeboten. Den Dotter deutend tippe ich aus Freilandhühne auf einem Bauernhof....... Ich werde auf alle Fälle wiederkommen...”
