“The food is marvellous at breakfast, in the restaurant and as a room service.”
“The excellent Cantina do Estrella restaurant, which is part of the hotel's locality. They served a muito gosto barbeque. The decent breakfast with both continental as well as English breakfast foods catered for at the hotel, was outstanding, especially the daily fresh pasteil de nata and fruits served. ”
“Great location in a quiet neighbourhood. Easy access both by taxi and public transport and good connection to all of the city's main attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our needs and questions. Good restaurants within walking distance. We had a wonderful four night stay. Would book again.”
“The staff were very helpful, polite, took the extra mile to assist with everything. A small snag I had was dealt with immediately. They kept an eye on the time booked for my taxi and informed me that I may need some extra time for my breakfast and offered to call the taxi driver and ask him to pick me up 5' later (all under control). I only had breakfast out in the garden and it was lovely. The chef prepared BBQ in the evening which looked delicious but I unfortunately had commitments every evening. I would stay there again.”
“Very pleasant and stylish hotel. I stayed one night and booked a deluxe room. The room is spacious, with a small sofa and is decorated with style, taste and originality. The bathroom was also very spacious with a bathtub. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and there is no room service for the same reason on that day, but you have plenty of places to eat starting with one just across the street. And you have to explored those little and narrow streets ( I didn't :-( ) ! The location, seemed to me like a little Montmartre, on top of a hilly street. Fortunately the hotel has a covered parking where you can park if you drive.I did not have time for breakfast. Very nice even if short experience. ”
“The rooms are clean and nice and the breakfasts are excellent. The staff are outstanding and very helpful. Once you discover the Metro getting to and from the hotel is a piece of cake. Walking and trams are good too. The quality and variety of food in restaurants within 10 minute walk was amazing. We had some of the best meals we have ever eaten. The fish was outstanding and the service faultless. All the restaurants were recommendations from the hotel staff.”
“The bed size was more of full size then of queen. But it was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. It is located in the center of the night life in Porto. Everything was great.”
“The location was excellent, easy access to trams and buses. The reception staff were excellent, so was the restaurant.”
“Excellent location only a 10 minute cab ride into the heart of the old city or take an entertaining tram journey. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk to tram, metro and bus stops and you can buy a daily travel card for 6 euros, reception will help you with travel info. It is also an enjoyable walk into the main city districts and takes about 20 minutes but watch out for the hills! Don't forget to check out the local area and the custard tarts! Loved Lisbon.”
“The room was comfortable, the staff were very good, professional and attentive.”
