“Brief one night stay at Hotel Da Oliveira in beautiful town of Guimarães. Would recommend this hotel for it's location. We had a spacious, comfortable room with view of the square where you can find numerous bars and restaurants. Guimarães castle is also within walking distance. Excellent breakfast served in dining room or outside on the square.”
“Atmosphere and location were perfect. Rooms were really spacious and comfortable.”
“The staff is very gentil and helpful. The ambiance and decor it´s nice; the location in the historic center it´s a great deal.”
“Right in the middle of such an interesting town.Quirky decor.”
“The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the beautiful old city. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room, junior suite, was spacious and so was the bathroom and shower. We liked the breakfast; you could even asked for an espresso if you like your coffee. (In previous reviews some people complained about the coffee). The dinners at the hotel restaurant were absolutely delicious and the service was excellent - we didn't even try other restaurants. They have an excellent wine selection and the waiters' suggestions were spot on. We loved our stay here and definitely recommend this hotel.”
“A beautiful boutique hotel tucked down a small street but located right in one of the main squares in Guimaraes. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and after a long journey check in was seamless. The team also offered some fantastic recommendations for dining; we tried nearly all of the them and loved each one.”
“Large comfortable room, with plenty of storage space for clothes;safe and fridge/minibar. Lift for taking our luggage up to the 2nd floor was essential for us.”
