“The bed was very comfortable. Two nice sinks and a large shower. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We also had dinner, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was made up of a choice of dishes. We had four between two persons. The beer was excellent. The ambiance was noisy as it was very busy with a number of families. This is a place for those who want to enjoy the local atmosphere, not for those who want a modern international hotel.”

“What a lovely hotel! Situated over an Irish pub, but not noisy, this place has an atmosphere like almost no other I have met, and I travel a lot. There are just 5 rooms, built in a very old house with wooden beams everywhere, but brought up to modern standards with every comfort you need, a beautiful modern bathroom, excellent bed, and overall an excellent combo of old and new. The view from our room was postcard-prefect, with a canal running outside, and the small village atmosphere around. Breakfast? - Well, this sets the hotel in a different standard altogether. Forget a messy breakfast buffet - you get an individual platter, filled with any and every item you would expect, brought to your table, with the best coffee I had in ANY hotel, it was that good! A place to remember, and return to!”
