“The del Cid is run by John, a Scottish ex-pat who only wants the best for his guests. Immensely helpful, John gave directions, placed phone calls, called taxis, etc. When our flight was canceled and we (and another party) needed immediate accommodation, John provided. The facility itself is nice, though not fancy. The layout combines traditional rooms and rooms off open courtyards. There are plenty of places for sitting and relaxing, both indoors and out. And there is an ample, gated car park for drivers. The rooms themselves are rather small, but have en suite bathrooms. Water temp and pressure was very good. The location is about three blocks from the main shopping streets and a couple of blocks more to Plaza Armas.”
