“First, the fabulous staff. The manager Pauline Le Du was simply the best. She was warm, welcoming and helpful. She gave me lovely recommendations on exploring the picturesque neighborhood, and while she’s fluent in English, she responded back in French each time I tried to communicate with my limited skills, something I appreciate hugely. Another young woman at the front desk whose name I don’t recall was also friendly, always greeting us with a smile. The woman who delivered coffee and croissants each morning was warm and kind. Another woman in housekeeping was also affable and particularly helpful. The hotel is quirkily stylish in a thoroughly charming way. Our room had high ceilings and gorgeous floor to ceiling windows that opened to the everyday street scene below. Bed linens, towels and robes were understatedly sumptuous, with a heated towel bar I covet... The first level has a sitting room that’s sophisticated and welcoming, and a beautiful petite bar area.”

“Loved this quaint hotel! In a nice, quiet neighbourhood, easy walking distance to notre dame, great staff, couldn't be happier. The area around the hotel had a lot of beautiful architecture to see, great restaurants, and a pleasant atmosphere. We did walk to the Eiffel Tower and to the arch de triumph but will admit that was an ambitious move! It took just over an hour both times so is definitely doable. The staff did not recommend this move by the way, we were just naive! But, it is a beautiful walk and well worth the treasures you find along the way which is why we did it two days in a row! We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it to friends! They have the most amazing shower I've used in years; the rainfall shower was everything! Also, their business card is quite lovely :)”

“Good breakfast , but the room was stuffy- no windows could open... friendly staff. perfect location, we asked for a quiet room and had one. Air con was quiet. we liked the size and building it was located in, very original and Le Marais style.”

The hotel was perfectly located but very quiet. It had all the convenience of a hotel but felt like staying in your own private hideaway surrounded by great restaurants, boutiques and cafes.
