“The reception was 24 hours and the port close by was really nice”
“Spotlessly clean. Hotel and restaurant seem to run independent of each other, and whilst the hotel was good, the restaurant was very good. The location was a 10-minute walk from the town centre, and therefore much quieter. It was opposite the station, and though the trains pass every few minutes, they are electric, quiet and certainly not intrusive. Generally a good hotel and excellent value. The restaurant is however, more expensive and evening meals are typically £30 - £35 per head.”
“To accommodate some other guests who had access difficulties we were asked if they could move us to another room, but there was no pressure to do this. The new room was excellent and less money than the original room and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.”
“Great when arriving by train as hotel is right opposite the station. The hotel is in a quiet area but a short walk to the centre of Valkenburg and the shops. The bus station is next to the station where you can get a bus (or train) into Maastricht, to do serious shopping. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a great selection of food and is served in pleasant surroundings.”

“10 min walk off the center we went with friends our room look like at has been renovated recently,our friends room was not, the carpet on the floor and the seats in the room was stained.Breakfast served from 0800 this could be better from 0700 because no coffee or thee maker in the room. no airco in the rooms.”
