“We were on a road trip, so the ample free parking was great. We could take a 5 Euro cab into the area where the Port tasting houses are located and from there you can easily walk across the bridge into the city center. Otherwise, it's very difficult to park in the city, so this was a great option. The rooms were clean, a bit on the small side but standard for Ibis, the TV quite large with excellent channel selection, and the fresh sea air was a luxury to have. We also liked the modern USB plugs provided in the room. The staff at the front desk spoke several languages including English and went above and beyond to help us orient ourselves and find places to eat and visit. We have lived in Spain for the past year and almost never encounter service as good as this, so it was a nice change for us. The hotel is a very good value, quiet and clean and a great place to stay if you're bringing a car.”

“I enjoyed my stay. Everything was fine in general. People without a car will need to use a taxi or public transport because it is a bit too far to walk anywhere. The room was quiet (which is a plus) and the bed comfortable, although the bedspread makes you feel a bit too hot because of the synthetic filling it has (mind you, this is general to most hotels I have been in). The receptionists were very kind and helpful. Especially one of them was incredibly kind and lively and I actually congratulated her because it is really nice and praiseworthy to deal with workers like these.”
