“The hotel is just next to the main road to Borgannes which we found to be so convenient. We enjoyed watching the farm animals and patting the fluffy sheep. We stayed at ground level which made it easier for us to pop in and out of our room to check out the northern lights which did come out during our stay, The hotel also supplied bath robes which was a bonus, We slept comfortably despite the hotel being just next to the road.”
“A lovely hotel on a working farm. Room was beautifully presented and in the ensuite as well as a hair dryer was a hair straightner - never seen that before. Staff were friendly and helpful and chatted for a while with the farmer the next morning (nearly froze whilst doing so) Best bit was the lovely hot tub (there are 2). Set into the hill, views up the hill and the stream trickling by to the side - wonderful. Food in the restaurant was good and no dearer than the rest of Iceland! Great range for breakfast. We almost saw the northern lights here, they started but they didn't get going.”

“We had a lovely dinner at the hotel upon arrival - delicious and well priced. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom were small but decent. You could hear some of the other guests from our room, but the people staying were not loud late into the night, so it was not an issue. Breakfast was tasty - not cooked to order, but both hot and cold dishes were available and it was a good selection. It was well located for our needs.”
