“It was an interesting concept, with the old cloister. Quite nice to see. The garden outside looked very nice and cosy, it was too cold for us to use it when we were there. We asked the reception staff for some glasses to have some wine on the room and they provided them just fine. Some nice restaurants in easy reach. No need to stay in the hotel restaurant which was not very special.”

“I had an excellent stay at "Il Chiostro". Very conveniently located, few hundred meters from the pedestrian zone of Intra and the lake. Lovely lounges, beautiful cloister. My room was very spacious, in fact a double room for single use at no extra charge. The staff always polite and helpful. Good breakfast, well above the average of an Italian 3-star hotel. Plenty of free parking space available about 100 meters from the hotel.”
